Author's Signature Collection
本館通過徵集、購買、捐贈、主動聯系著作等方式，經過多年的累積與整理，建立鄰近地區最具特色的作者簽名文庫，直到2026年，本文庫共收入親筆簽名圖書超過6,000種，包括著名中國學者張岱年、費孝通、錢偉長等及西方學者C. R. Boxer, Joseph Needham等，著名作家有白先勇、余光中、金庸、莫言等，以及由中華文學基金會送贈的中國當代作家簽名叢書200冊，如巴金、冰心等，藉作者簽名連繫讀者、圖書館及作者之間的橋樑。
The library has built up the region’s most distinctive collection of author-signed books through acquisitions, purchases, donations, and proactive outreach to authors. After many years of accumulation and organization, the collection has grown significantly. As of 2026, it contains more than 6,000 autographed titles, including works signed by renowned Chinese scholars such as Zhang Dainian, Fei Xiaotong, and Qian Weichang, as well as prominent Western scholars including C. R. Boxer and Joseph Needham. The collection also features books signed by celebrated writers such as Pai Hsien-yung, Yu Kwang-chung, Jin Yong, and Mo Yan. In addition, it includes a set of 200 signed volumes by contemporary Chinese authors donated by the China Literature Foundation, featuring literary figures such as Ba Jin and Bing Xin. Through these authors’ signatures, the collection serves as a bridge connecting readers, libraries, and authors.
