Since 1998, Haruki Murakami's works have engaged researchers and scholars alike in the Chinese community across the Straits (the mainland, Hongkong, Taiwan and Macau) in terms of cultural and literary perspectives. There have been a great variety of researches and they have impacted the Chinese community on both cultural and literary levels. This paper attempts to delve into the translations of his works and the researches conducted on his works. By adding the Macau scene to the general picture, this paper concludes with different value systems in and approaches to the understanding of the modernity in Haruki Murakami's works within the Chinese community.

村上春樹自1998年開始在兩岸四地華文世界形成風潮，文化上、文學上，出現各種各樣的現象，帶來了不同程度的影響。本文試圖梳理華文世界對村上春樹作品的譯介情況以及研究成果，並通過增補澳門的村上春樹現象，總結出華文世界對「現代性的村上春樹」的理解所產生的各種價值。
