A mildly interesting history of the flag of the United States from colonial days to the "present 48 states". Unfortunately, it's black and white, so the colorful colonial flags look drab. Westward expansion and attacks on Native Americans is explained as helping railroad crews' work "progress in an orderly fashion." Pre-WWII patriotism is pumped up by calling the USA a "vast empire" "second to none in wealth and influence, in greatness and in power."
