The office of Inter-American affairs finally makes a movie that doesn't bore me out of my gourd by featuring our favorite pair of moving lips in the 1950's, Lowell Thomas, narrating one heck of a propaganda piece laying the smack down about how our neighbors to the south are helping us in the war. An amazing introduction, where Lowell tells us how nice it was in the US and how we could trust those Germans and Japs until Pearl Harbor! Bataan1 The film then explains that much of the US resources were going to the war, and we needed more, but where are we going to find it? Latin America, that's where. Lowell then goes into this BIG diatribe about how something was there, but we needed someone to get it out, aka "Nitrate was there, but we needed someone to take it out!" He repeats this like 10 times. After that, he explains that we have to thank Spanish people for helping us out in this time of need.
