A somewhat blah overview comparision of American families to Latin American Families, the film starts off by showing us a VERY well to do Latin American family, which lead me to believe that this is not a balanced film, we compare their plantations of land, with the well-to-do upper middle class of Americans. After seeing this comparision, we then turn to the worker's families who work for the upper crust people we met in the first part of the film who don't make much money, and which utilize every member of the family (including children). We then finally switch over to the less well to do in this unnamed latin american country (I guess we're just blanketing the region?) and shows how the people who own land way way up in the mountains manage to survive. And that's it! No comaprision of the AMERICAN less well to do (we can't do that!) and no talk about other people, say the people living in the city? Fairly puzzling and incoherent. But, it DOES have SOME interesting scenes..
