- This Kodachrome film is a travelogue of epic length in which the camera rarely leaves the factory floor. Mrs. Harwood, a lady of a certain social position, decides to research her women's club presentation on the American dairy industry by visiting Meadow Gold facilities across the country. Assisted by supportive company executives and a host of hospitable plant managers, she (and we) learn a great deal about the operations of the dairy industry and its importance in feeding forty million American families every day.

Seemingly endless rahrah about the wonders of Beatrice Food's milk division. Mrs Harwood must write about 'Food' for her church social groups. So she hops over to her Beatrice foods plant, and then after a tour, decides to go to every single milk plant there is, it seems, during her already planned family vacation. Stuff like the grand canyon is given a second glance to the many wonders of refrigeration it seems. The 2nd part is a good example of the words 'get this over with' as a Beatrice plant exec goes over SLOWLY every single operation percentage. Soon, she's back with her report, which of course gets a rapturous response from her group. Proceed with caution.
