- No no.. thats SPARS! Not SARS! In this curious recruitment film, we're led to believe that doing SPARS work is as exciting as being out at sea with the Coast Guard. Yes, filing, stockroom work, answering phones and typing is just as glamourous as being a gunner! You may even get to work in the Coast Guard Hedquarters! As we see a car pull up, we get excited to see a SPARS rep entering, but WAIT! we see two men get out! The person 'working at the headquarters' is actually the driver! LOL! An interesting film to say the least.
