By far, one of the most EXCRUCIATINGLY bad movies of any sort I've seen. This film about Brandon, which I guess is in Virginia, in the Prince George county, just scores wrong on every count. First, the snooty narration by the unidentified lady (Louise Branch perhaps?) who is at best unintelligable and sounds like the high matron of the town. Second is the MUSIC. Oh my god, the whole classical music thing is bad enough, but to have it swelling nauseatingly in and out non stop is too much, and thirdly the PACING is so BAD it's excruciating. You're spending 5 minutes looking at flowers, listening to this head pounding music and the odd (very odd) narration popping in at odd intervals. The second half SOMEWHAT picks up, but again, the pacing is still horrible. All RIGHT! You have HORSES! We don't need to see the slo mo shots of them jumping.. TWICE. Show this to someone you love, and they'll hate you for life. I promise.
