An estimated 34 million people are infected worldwide with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), acquired immunodeficiency syndrome's etiologic cause (AIDS). The AIDS epidemic becomes more and more serious in the world. HIV genomes are more complex and diverse than other virus’ genes. So far, still no vaccine can be put to massive use. Therefore, for a long period of time, the development of safe and effective anti-AIDS drugs is still important for the current AIDS prevention and treatment. In order to develop a dynamic analyzed to provide reference for the development of anti-AIDS drugs. In this study, we first analyzed R&D projects of anti-AIDS drugs, describes the status of anti-AIDS drugs under research status. Then, we reviewed the ongoing projects. The analysis shows that entry inhibitors as a new AIDS drugs, has broad market prospects. A large number of clinical trial results show entry inhibitors are the most promising AIDS treatments. The results show that, HIV entry inhibitors, especially CCR5 entry inhibitors have huge potential market, worthy further experimental research and validation in the future.
