Due to the unbalanced development of two genders of the society and the constrain from both the traditional thought and limit education resources for the female, during such a long time, the female had been lingering at the edge of the social historical culture and especially for being neglected and excluded from the political arena, on both domestic and international level. What sorts of reasons lead to this situation, and where do they root in are meaningful to look into it. However time goes by, with the gradual improvement of human society and overall female own quality, not only the number but also the role the female have been witnessing huge progress. As far as the number of global female leaders is concerned, according to the evident statistics, until 1950s it is the only one, then 3 in 1960s, 7 in 1970s, 11 in 1980s. After entering into the 21st century, the amount of female leaders got a sharp increase, and even in many European countries the number of the female in the cabinet overpasses that of the male. Meanwhile more and more women emerged as the top leaders of the transnational-cooperative organizations. Expect working as the head of a state or an organization directly, the female also plays the indispensible role in the interaction among states as the wife of the male state leaders. All of these outstanding female enjoy a noticeable reputation in and abroad. Meanwhile with the emergence of “Her Era”, of the international politics, interaction among different governments start to show a kind of soft and gentle characteristic 6 distinguishing from the previous. Compared with the emphasis on the control of the male politics, it is quite different for the female to strengthen on and be good at conducting communication with much more interest and patience. Thanks to the unique affability and personal charming, nowadays they could win a place of their own in the international political regime once dominated by the men. Smile, hug, flowers, intimate care and many others could be used by the female as their useful weapons to complete their special way of interaction and communication. Therefore what kind of the fresh breeze of the female leaders is brought to the traditional political ties? What are the core features and advantages of women to make impact on the today’s interaction of international politics? What is the positive influence and significance of the female for the global development and international cooperation? This thesis will choose several representative female leaders as cases to conduct the study, attempting to use theories from the areas of both international relations and social science to compare and explore the unique role of the female in the international politics
